RN division resource float pool opportunities

Our Elite Nursing Division Resource Float Pool Team provides care to a variety of patients throughout our hospitals across North Texas. Our Division Resource Float Pool nurses deliver professional nursing care to patients in a variety of settings, including Emergency Room, Acute Care, Critical Care, Operating Room, Endoscopy / GI, NICU, and L&D. You will have the opportunity to float to multiple facilities, as assignments are split by location, East or West. We are looking for Registered Nurses that are interested in working with a diverse group of patients in a role that allows for developing additional Nursing skills. Qualifications

Education / License / Certifications:

  • BSN required within 24 months of hire
  • Current Texas RN License
  • Current Healthcare Provider BLS, ACLS and NRP (for NICU only) issued by the American Heart Association required
  • Professional Nursing Organization Membership strongly encouraged.
  • Certification in area of specialty preferred.
  • Fetal heart monitoring, AWHONN and other HCA required courses for L&D nurses in accordance with department education schedule.
Experience:
  • Minimum 18 months experience within an acute care hospital with a minimum one year in a specialty area.
Special Demands:
  • Must be willing to float between designated facilities in the pod you are hired into.
