RN to BSN Program

HCA North Texas and the University of Texas Arlington have formed a collaborative partnership to provide advanced education to RNs who wish to complete their BSN degree.

You may take advantage of asynchronous delivery of class material in your home whenever you wish to study, and take advantage of special tuition pricing through the Partnership.  Additionally, your costs may be reimbursed through your facility’s Tuition Reimbursement program.

Basic requirements for admission are:

  • Complete the prerequisite classes and application as required by the University.
  • You must continue to be employed on a full or part time basis while in the program.

UT Arlington - RN to BSN

HCA APBSN Program

Through the partnership with HCA North Texas and Academic Partners at UTA we are able to provide advanced education in an accelerated fashion to HCA employees who wish to become RNs.  This program is specifically designed for those employees who have already earned an undergraduate degree, and allows you to complete your BSN in as little as 15 months after all prerequisite courses have been successfully completed.  Participants will attend clinical experiences at an HCA North Texas hospital.  It is important to remember that this is a fast paced program and a substantial decrease in hours worked may be necessary.

Basic requirements for admission are:

  • Complete the prerequisite classes and application process as required by UTA.
  • Current employee with a minimum of 6 months of service.
